About Macy Weeks

Macy Weeks is a seasoned Coach in the fitness industry, known for her ability to inspire, encourage, and empower individuals to pursue and maintain a healthy lifestyle. With a Master of Science in Kinesiology, certifications from Precision Nutrition and the American College of Sports Medicine, Macy combines academic expertise with a deep passion for practical fitness.

Macy’s journey in fitness began with her love for sports – particularly softball – which she played at a collegiate level before focusing on her academic pursuits at Georgia Southern University. It was here that she delved into tactical strength and conditioning, primarily working with firefighters and police officers to enhance their physical training. This experience led to her influential graduate research, which tracked the health and fitness outcomes of firefighters over a 2-year period.

In her role as Lead Coach at Momentus Personal Training, Macy provides targeted coaching and support through both personal training and group exercise. She excels in crafting prescriptive exercise programs tailored to individual client needs, aiming to optimize their physical performance and health outcomes. Her comprehensive support extends beyond the gym floor; playing a crucial role in the strategic direction of Momentus Personal Training. By supporting the Director, she contributes to the overall success and growth of the facility, ensuring that it remains a leader in delivering service that changes lives.

Macy’s unique coaching style is empathetic and tailored to individual needs, recognizing that each day presents different challenges. She strives to ensure that every client leaves the gym feeling better than when they entered, both physically and mentally. Her current personal challenge is endurance sports. After taking up "real" running only a few years ago, she has completed 2 Ironman 70.3’s and a 50k trail race, with plans to run the Charlotte Marathon.

With a mission to clear the fog of misinformation in the fitness world, Macy is committed to educating as many people as possible. Her goal is not just to transform bodies, but also to enrich minds, giving individuals the tools they need to thrive and sustain their health independently.
