About Billy Ward

Billy Ward is the Director of Fitness for Momentus Personal Training. Assuming the role in 2016, Billy has helped coach hundreds of people in their journey to love how they feel and get the most out of life. Growing up as standout athlete in upstate New York, Billy developed a strong appreciation for exercise and movement, and how it improves performance and quality of life.

This appreciation led Billy to obtain a degree in Exercise Science from Syracuse University, where he also captained the Lacrosse team as a Division I All-American. Upon graduation from Syracuse University, Billy made his way down to Charlotte, NC to begin his journey in health and sports performance with Performance Unlimited. Billy’s playing career at Syracuse University and the Charlotte Hounds naturally led to his immediate involvement directing performance training with lacrosse athletes while being an active member of the coaching community. Billy currently directs the Team Carolina High School program, where he guides young lacrosse athletes to opportunities at the next level. 

During this time, Billy continued to transition into health and wellness focusing on leading Momentus Personal Training. In the pursuit of helping people improve and extend their through fitness, Billy has been relentless in garnering knowledge, earning certifications from organizations such as Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Functional Range Assessments (FRA), ELDOA L1 + L2, MovNat, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), RockTape, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
